We are seeking a motivated and experienced Supply Chain Quality Specialist to provide temporary support during a maternity leave period. This role is designed to ensure continuity in supply chain and supplier development processes, including managing supplier self-assessments, upholding quality standards, and assisting with the parts approval process. Please note that this position is supported by established procedures and guidance, and full familiarity with all internal business processes is not expected
Key Responsibilities:
Parts Supplier Certification/Qualification Approval:
Review supplier self-assessment results, provide feedback, and request corrective actions to support the approval and qualification processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Purchasing, to assist in supplier assessments and approvals
Support audits as required
Assist with the preparation and updating of quality handbooks as needed
Collaborate with global Supply Chain colleagues to monitor performance targets
Help track and update localization KPI data
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in quality management, with exposure to supply chain and supplier development
Familiarity with quality management systems, supplier assessment methodologies, and compliance standards
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 is preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German is an advantage
