Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and, together with external engineering companies, assemble liquid spraying solutions for industrial applications (hardware and software)
• Prepare manuals, product data sheets, SOPs, ensure hardware and software compliance with industry standards and cybersecurity protocols
• Build strong relationships with external partners (suppliers, clients, etc.) for effective project collaboration
• Customize the spraying systems to customers’ requirements and install them at various textile processing facilities globally (including 5-20% travel time)
• Remotely monitor and troubleshoot the installed systems; interact with customer project teams and support them with technical advice
• Support senior project managers with other project management and operational tasks
• Help the Haelixa team in delivering a great product!

Your profile:

• Passionate about working in a start-up
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; experience in diverse stakeholder management
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related technical field or combination of education and experience
• Flexibility and energy to work in a high-speed and high-intensity work environment
• Autonomy, independence, and proactivity
• Willingness to travel internationally for installation of spraying solution (ca. 1 week every quarter)
• Technical skills
• Embedded systems design and programming
• Understanding of electrical systems, PLC-Arduino microcontrollers, and sensor integration
• Familiarity with embedded systems programming (C/C++, Python) and IoT services (e.g., InfluxDB, Kafka)
• Knowledge of Real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Mechanical system design, fluidics
• Preferred: 1-2 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-direction
