Job Description

Join our team and support us in our aim to build the next generation of environmental databases. In this role, you will discover the challenges our internal & external data contributors face and build solutions with your multidisciplinary product team that improve the contribution process and allow us to scale the depth & breadth of our database.

The ideal candidate brings curiosity, an analytical mindset and is outcome oriented. You will work with academic experts, designers & engineers of diverse backgrounds to iteratively build the tools & platform that underpin ecoinvent's data contribution process. This requires excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to bring clarity in an opaque domain and find a way forward.

What you will be doing:

• Map the current contribution process, the stakeholders, their pains & the opportunities to improve
• Define a product strategy for the contributions domain together with the Lead Product Manager & CTO
• Lead the discovery process that transforms the strategy & insights into valuable ideas
• Convert these ideas into usable & feasible features with designers & engineers
• Support the designers & engineers in building & releasing those features
• Track the success or failure of the feature to achieve its intended goal and adapt
• Promote and assist the team in adopting an iterative product development model
• Document & share your knowledge using multimedia tools

• You have built digital products as a product manager in a multidisciplinary team
  
• You have created a product roadmap before
• You can research user needs and validate a concept with them
• You can facilitate a workshop or difficult decision meeting
• You are driven by metrics and data-based decision making
• You are open minded, you listen, understand, discuss and find solutions
• You work best in a team
• You communicate effectively in English both online & offline, written & spoken
• You are curious and eager to learn
• You are analytical and creative
• You can give and receive feedback
• Extras:
