Join our Managed Container Platforms team in Zurich and help us drive our global Kubernetes platforms on-premises and in public clouds. The Managed Container Platforms product team is responsible in running system critical financial infrastructure for Spain and Switzerland, including instant payment, interbank clearing, supporting applications for stock exchanges and many more. The purpose of your work will be to run and innovate infrastructure that is relevant to millions of people daily.
What You Will Do
- manage and enhance global-scale Kubernetes platforms, including OpenShift and AKS, focusing on event driven patterns, automation, connectivity, security and observability
- operate our Kubernetes platforms and support customer requests. Participate in paid on-call rotation for troubleshooting
- participating in companywide projects as a subject matter expert in Kubernetes, cloud native application architecture and containerization
- foster continuous learning and share expertise within the team to stay on the edge on Kubernetes Platform technologies
What You Bring
- completed vocational education, apprenticeship in IT or a bachelor's degree in computer science or comparable qualification
- at least 3 years of experience operating or administrating Kubernetes clusters / cloud-native technologies in both private and/or public cloud environments, including tools like ArgoCD, ArgoCD App of Apps pattern, Helm, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheusand Elastic
- skilled in engineering Kubernetes clusters with at least one year of experience in Kubernetes Platform engineering or similar roles
- positive, motivated and collaborative, with a strong sense of ownership and autonomy; proactive in sharing knowledge and experienced in Agile methodologies
- strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach to problem-solving
- fluent in written and spoken English, with German or Spanish as a plus
