Leads and completes the elicitation of business requirements and their translation into solution requirements to ensure their implementation throughout the project life cycle. This role will generally involve the co-ordination of work of other Business Analysts to deliver the required deliverable or will be a more technical role delivering multiple requirements as part of a moderate to large high risk independent project

They are able to adapt to and apply different delivery methodologies
They plan, conduct facilitate elicitation sessions and ensure production of associated deliverables
They understand customers' objectives, processes and products in order to make recommendations
They are the project manager's right hand in building the business case, including cost benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope and development of a high-level plan
They produce requirement specifications and outline solution design documents throughout the project life cycle, incorporating change requests and finalization of requirements documentation
They plan and follow-up on business analyst activities for the project-program, and analyze and manage requirement risk, trace ability matrix and prioritize requirements
They support development of test plan, testing, implementation and training activities, and perform quality review checks on solution
They support post implementation activities including problem solving and measurement of benefits
