Our team, chartered by both HR and Technology, consists of approximately 10 members led by our Head of Sustainability, who is part of the extended Executive Team of Hitachi Energy. We are closely with the Executive Team, BU and Functional Area sustainability teams, HSE managers, product, marketing, and communication managers, and other stakeholders to drive and implement our company’s sustainability agenda.

How you’ll make an impact
Project manage the report preparation, ensuring operational coordination of key functions such as HR, Integrity, Procurement, Finance, Communications, etc
Coordinate report delivery, working closely with relevant internal stakeholders, external agencies, and third-party audit assurance firms where appropriate
Collect ESG quantitative data and qualitative narratives for regular reporting and the annual Sustainability Report
Oversee the reporting control framework, ensuring adherence to the reporting policy
Analyze and investigate key issues, trends, and gaps in the sustainability reporting program
Apply and monitor global reporting standards and industry best practices
Stay abreast of new or upcoming regulatory developments and integrate them into the reporting process
Train and coordinate the work of support personnel in the area of assignment
Your background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Economics, Business, Finance, or Risk Management
3- 5 years of experience in a sustainability-reporting related field is beneficial
Solid understanding and experience with reporting and disclosure of ESG/Sustainability data
Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform quantitative tasks with speed and accuracy
Proven track record of successfully coordinating and leading global cross-functional projects
Excellent communication and influencing skills developed through previous work in a global organization
