Operations Performance Management is right at the heart of SWISS- operations, contributing every day to insight-based decision making and continuous performance improvements of airline operations. This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in data analysis and airline operations within a dynamic environment.

You take a front-seat role in advising SWISS- operations management. You will support running data projects, ad-hoc analyses and have the chance to get a glimpse of how we use and enhance the operational data landscape of a global airline. • Provide valuable data-driven insights supporting decision making
• Create data visualizations, reporting and interactive dashboards
• Create insightful analyses to help quantify key drivers to optimize SWISS- operational performance
• Contribute to our operational data landscape & support automation
• Foster data democratization and self-service capabilities across the company
• Collaborate and effectively communicate data insights across various stakeholders from SWISS- Operations departments

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or an -HF- Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in an analytical subject, e.g., data science, engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics or related fields
• Knowledge of SQL coding, good command of at least one programming language (Python preferred)
• Data science and/or data engineering background is an advantage
• Ability to work independently, yet a team-player with strong communication, and social skills
• Excellent oral and written presentation skills; competences in analysis and management presentations
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, and Excel
